My CSCS App Launch
GQA is enhancing its CSCS provision by introducing digital CSCS card access through the My CSCS App, giving learners secure, instant access to their CSCS card on their mobile phone following successful application or renewal. This also applies to existing GQA CSCS Q-Card holders who hold one of the new CSCS Smart cards launched in June 2025.
The introduction of digital CSCS cards, while not replacing physical cards, represents a major step forward in improving efficiency, reducing delays and enhancing the learner experience across GQA-approved provision.

Learners who successfully apply for or renew a GQA CSCS Q-Card will be able to view their card immediately via the My CSCS App, removing the wait for a physical card to arrive by post. All digital CSCS cards within the App can be verified through CSCS Smart Check, either by using a dynamic QR code or via manual entry.
Digital cards are secure, fully verifiable and issued through CSCS-approved systems, providing complete confidence for employers and site managers. Like the physical CSCS card, the digital card displays the cardholder’s photograph, qualifications, occupation and expiry date, enabling employers to quickly confirm the cardholder has the right card for the right job.

The My CSCS App is available now via Google Play (Android) or via the App Store (Apple).
