RT Resources have a wealth of experience in delivering SVQs and Modern Apprenticeships in Children & Young People. We have long standing relationships with a number of leading residential care organisations and also Early Years Centre’s. Our experienced Assessors can bring their work experience of dealing with learning difficulties, behavioural problems and early years centres to your staff and ensure that their SVQ is relevant to their individual job role.
“Finding the time to study was quite challenging when working towards these qualifications. Whilst working full time and bringing up my family it can be difficult to set time aside to focus on the coursework. I found that setting aside small amounts of time daily, enabled me to work through the units without feeling overwhelmed and panicking to meet deadlines. This worked out on most occasions.
The most interesting and beneficial part of the qualification was reflecting on my practice and gaining more knowledge of current practice enabling me to become more trauma informed. I think the qualification has improved my work practice as I am more knowledgeable about current policies and procedures.
I feel that once I have completed my SVQ 4, I would be happy to settle in the role that I am currently in and develop my confidence and competence and consolidating what I have learned whilst undertaking this qualification. Joanne has always been very helpful and approachable whenever I have needed support with any of the units.”
– Melanie Carr, SSHC CYP SCQF L9, St Philips School
